Welcome Neighbor Committee

Mission:

 

To promote and improve the general quality of life in the Seasons by advocating for the overall health, welfare, and safety of our neighborhood, ultimately enhancing homeowner property values. Seasons' Welcome Neighbors (WN) achieves its mission by:

 

• creating awareness of issues that affect all residents,
• encouraging resident participation in neighborhood gatherings and initiatives, and
• supporting the beautification, improvement, and safety of The Seasons at Tiara Rado.

 

General Procedure:

 

General inquiries, questions, or comments can be answered by the WN representative or jointly with Board member assistance. We refer to The Seasons Governing Documents to ensure compliance prior to providing a response, when appropriate. The Seasons Master Association at Tiara Rado website is seasonshoa.com.

 

Duties of Representative:

• Meet with new residents on the street to talk about the New Resident Welcome Packet, inform about the website, online directory, etc., and get contact information.
• Handle general inquiries on an issue from a neighbor and confer with a board member if not sure how to proceed. WN's are conduits for solving problems and answering questions; however, they do not have responsibility or authority to obligate HOA funds. Let the Board do that.
• Contact the Board for immediate action if the problem is an emergency or will cost money to fix.
• Maintain a current list of phone numbers and email addresses of the neighbors on your list; keep up-to-date and handy. Do not share this list. Some residents do not want their phone numbers and /or emails made public.
• Send emails about issues to keep a paper trail. Volunteers will get specific information on handling specific types of issues, e.g., irrigation or landscaping, etc. Keep a log of residents who contact you.
• Follow up to ensure the problem is resolved, either by calling or sending another email.
