Redlands Water & Power Planned Date to shut down water to the canal is Monday, Oct. 13. For those homeowners who have their own control boxes (Filing 5 and Filing 4 Custom), any last-minute watering should be completed prior to Sunday the 12th. Please complete watering before Sunday so we will be able to ensure the pond has sufficient water in it for the winter season. You do not need to turn off your valve at that time.
All HOA-controlled irrigation panels will be turned off at 5pm on Sunday the 12th. If you have independent maintenance personnel perform your shut-off, Bookcliff is suggesting Oct 15 or later to have your individual systems blown out so Bookcliff can ensure all main systems are blown out. Bookcliff Gardens will be shutting down the Small and Large Systems and blowing out the systems for Filing 1, Filing 3 Perimeter and Filing 4 Courtyard homes, as well as Filing 4 Custom/Filing 5 Main Lines as soon as possible after the canal is drained, as well as any scheduled blow outs for individual homeowners.
For those homeowners who use household water for irrigation, you should have your system shut down and blown out prior to any freezing temperatures to avoid damage to your system.
